A hurriedly winter storm rushed into Southern California
early Thursday, yield in heavy snow, battering rain and tornado warnings,
but by mid-morning, the sun had slightly appeared.
A tornado warning was
expressed for parts of Santa Barbara County until 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, and was
later canceled as the storm depleted in the area.
A second tornado warning
was issued for western Orange County around midnight Thursday morning, but was
canceled shortly afterward as the storm lessened, leaving behind excessive
rainfall.
The worst of the storm has passed, but it probably would
remain damp throughout the day. Some areas are going to see a bit of sun,
and then an hour later, it’ll cloud up again.
It’s going to be one of those days. Taking into
consideration that people in the area are warned to find shelter and that
flying debris can cause bruises to walking people, damage to buildings and
cars.
