Sisi Launches New Comprehensive Social Health Insurance

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi ordered the launch of the first phase of the project to establish the health project construction project in (Port Said - Ismailia - Suez - South Sinai - North Sinai), with preliminary steps and a specific timetable according to the following:

1- Eliminate waiting lists for patients with critical medical surgeries and interventions in a period of six months.

2- Launching hospitals development project's model with a total of 47 hospitals in all governorates of Egypt, which belongs to the Ministry of Health and university hospitals.

3- Providing strategic stocks of infant formula and vaccines.

4- Scanning and comprehensive treatment of Virus C, with a total of 45 million Egyptian citizens, in partnership with major drug companies.

5- Finishing the equipping and mechanization of Port Said Governorate in terms of establishing and equipping manpower and registering the beneficiaries during their work in the remaining governorates of the first stage (Suez - Ismailia - North and South Sinai).

· The new health insurance law covers all family members, not just the insured individual, treats all diseases, and the government bears all expenses for the incapable. Private hospitals will participate in the provision of medical service in "terms" by contracting with them.

· The participant in the new health insurance will pay a nominal "contribution" ratio to control the number of applications, while surgeries with no contributions other than the payment of the basic subscription.

· The new health insurance law applies, in 6 stages, during 15 years, from 2018 to 2032

Ex-Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn has fled Japan for Lebanon
